The municipality of Klina ( Albanian Komuna e Klinës , Serbian Општина Клина Opština Klina ) is a municipality in Kosovo . It is located in the Peja district . The administrative seat is the city of Klina .
The municipality of Klina is located in western central Kosovo. In the south the municipality borders on Malisheva and Gjakova, in the east on Skënderaj and Drenas , in the north on Istog and in the west on Peja . There are a total of 54 villages in the municipality. The area is 308 km². Together with the municipalities of Istog and Peja, the municipality forms the district of Peja.

The 2011 census showed a population of 38,496 for the municipality of Klina. Of these, 37,216 stated to be Albanians, 934 Balkan Egyptians , 98 Serbs , 85 Ashkali , 78 Roma , 20 Bosniaks and 3 Turks .
31,185 declared themselves as Muslims, 7,124 as Catholics , 100 as Orthodox and one person has no faith.
