The municipality of Štrpce ( Serbian Општина Штрпце Opština Štrpce , Albanian Komuna e Shtërpcës ) is a municipality in Kosovo . It is located in the Ferizaj district . The administrative seat is the city of Štrpce .
The municipality of Štrpce is located in the south of Kosovo. In the west the municipality borders on Prizren , in the south on North Macedonia , in the northwest on Suhareka , in the northeast on Ferizaj and in the east on Kaçanik . There are a total of 16 villages in the municipality. The area is 247 km². Together with the municipalities of Ferizaj, Kaçanik, Shtime and Han i Elezit , the municipality forms the Ferizaj district.

The 2011 census showed a population of 6,949 in the municipality of Štrpce, of which 3,757 identified themselves as Albanians, 3,148 as Serbs, 24 as Roma and 10 as members of other nationalities. 3772 declared themselves as Muslims, 3150 as Orthodox , 6 as Catholics , 14 gave no answer or were non-denominational.
