The community Mamusha ( Turkish Mamuşa Belediyesi , Albanian  Komuna e Mamushës , Serbian Општина Мамуша Opština Mamuša ) is a municipality in Kosovo. It is located in the Prizren district . The administrative seat is the city of Mamusha .

geography

The municipality of Mamusha is located in the central south of Kosovo. In the north it borders on the municipality of Suhareka and in the west on the municipality of Rahovec . Altogether there is one village in the municipality, which is also the administrative center. The area is 11 km². Together with the municipalities of Suhareka, Malisheva, Prizren and Dragash, the municipality forms the Prizren District .

Residents

The 2011 census showed a population of 5,507 in the municipality of Mamusha, of whom 5,128 were Turks, 327 Albanians , 39 Roma , twelve Ashkali and one Bosniak . All residents are Muslim.
