The community Shtime ( Albanian Komuna e Shtimes , Serbian Општина Штимље Opština Štimlje ) is a municipality in Kosovo. It is located in the Ferizaj district . The administrative seat is the city of Shtime .
The Shtime municipality is located in the center of Kosovo. In the south the municipality borders on the municipality Ferizaj , in the northeast on the municipality Lipjan and in the west on the municipality Suhareka . There are a total of 23 villages in the municipality. The area is 134 km². Together with the municipalities of Ferizaj, Kaçanik, Han i Elezit and Štrpce, the municipality forms the Ferizaj district .

The 2011 census showed a population of 27,324 for the community of Shtime, of which 26,447 (96.79%) identified themselves as Albanians, 750 as Ashkali , 49 as Serbs , 23 as Roma , 20 as Bosniaks and 13 residents stated that belong to another ethnic group.
Of the 27,324 residents in the municipality, 27,224 residents claimed to be Muslims , 56 as Orthodox , seven people said they were Roman Catholic , 15 gave no answer or were non-denominational.
