Ujmira ( Albanian  also  Ujmirë , Serbian Добра Вода Dobra Voda ) is a village in Kosovo in the municipality of Klina and in the district of Peja .

Ujmira is located in the northwest of Kosovo in the municipality of Klina in the Peja district. The village belongs partly to the Llapusha region and partly to the Drenica region . The village is located on the left bank of the Klina River on the Pristina - Peja railway line . Ujmira lies at 565  m. i. J. . The settlement area is located on the territory of the Ujmira cadastral community with an area of ​​331 ha . The municipality capital Klina is about ten kilometers away in the west.

history

There is a monastery near Ujmira , which was founded in the first half of the 14th century and entered in the list of cultural monuments of outstanding importance of the Republic of Serbia .

On the hill above Ujmira are the remains of the church of Sv. The apostles Peter and Paul. The church was probably built in the 13th century within the monastery complex of the same name. The foundations of the extensive walls of the entrance tower and the gates of the fortress city, in the center of which the temple was located, have been preserved. It was rebuilt in the 14th century and rebuilt after the restoration of the Peja Monastery in the 16th century. There are also the remains of a church in Ujmira.

economy

There are a total of three shops in the village. There are two small supermarkets and one medium-sized supermarket next to Ujmirë train station. In Ujmirë there is also a middle school, right next to the middle school there is also the kindergarten and elementary school of Ujmirë. The whole complex is called as the school of '' Ali Krasniqi ''. There is also a gas station and a hygiene market.
