Ralf Karolus Wüstenberg

Ralf Karolus Wüstenberg (* 1965 ) is a German Protestant theologian .

Life and work

Wüstenberg studied theology in Berlin , Cambridge and Heidelberg . It was in 1995 at the Humboldt University of Berlin to Dr. theol. PhD . He received his habilitation at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg in 2003 and was awarded the Venia legendi for the subject of systematic theology. Visiting professorships / fellowships at the universities of Cambridge (2013/2014), New York City (2002/2003), Cape Town (1999) and the FU Berlin (2005–2009). He was ordained in 2003 and was cathedral preacher at the Berlin Cathedral from 2003 to 2005 . Since 2009 he has been teaching as a university professor for Protestant theology with a focus on systematic and historical theology at the European University of Flensburg .

His research areas are international Dietrich Bonhoeffer research, political reconciliation research / transitional justice and interreligious dialogue with Islam / theology of religions.
