Ralf Kettemann (born  August 20, 1986 in Crailsheim ) is a German soccer player .

Career

In his youth, Kettemann played at TSV Goldbach, TSV Crailsheim and SSV Ulm 1846 . In the summer of 2005 he moved back to TSV Crailsheim in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . About the second team of SpVgg Greuther Fürth Kettemann came to the Stuttgarter Kickers for the 2008/09 season . He made his professional debut in the 3rd division on August 2, 2008 when he was substituted on in the 72nd minute in the 2-0 home defeat of the Kickers against Fortuna Düsseldorf .

In the summer of 2009 he joined the VfR Aalen , which, like the Kickers , was relegated to the Regionalliga Süd . In his first season he was promoted back to the third division with the club and won the WFV Cup . In addition, his goal to make it 1-0 at home against KSV Hessen Kassel on May 8, 2010 (final score: 2-0) was nominated by the ARD Sportschau for the goal of the month election. In the following season 2010/11 he prevailed at the third division team as a regular player.

At the end of the 2010/11 season, Kettemann surprisingly announced in May 2011 that he was ending his professional career in order to begin a teaching degree . He then switched to the amateur division of the TSV Ilshofen district league club , which he trained as a player- coach at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, alongside his English and sports studies . In 2013 he reached the district league championship with the club and rose to the state league. In 2015 he was promoted to the association league, in which Kettemann had a share with 19 goals this season, and in 2018 another promotion to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg .
