Ralf Tribuntsov (born September 22, 1994 in Silkeborg , Denmark ) is an Estonian swimming athlete who specializes in short back , dolphin and freestyle distances. The participant in the 2015 World Swimming Championships is a multiple Estonian champion and record holder.

Sports life

The son of a basketball coach and brother of a basketball player from Denmark, he improved his swimming skills as a student at the University of Southern California . At the Swimming World Championships in Kazan , Russia , he could not survive the prelims over 50 m and 100 m back (25.45 / 55.13 s) and 50 m and 100 m dolphin (24.28 / 54.38 s) (placements 21./32./35./45).

At the European Short Course Championships 2013 in Herning, Denmark, he already had a shared 8th place over 100 m back together with the Italian Niccolò Bonacchi in 51.69 s (winner Jérémy Stravius , 49.74 s).

At the 2015 European Short Course Championships in Netanya , Israel , there was the same placement in 52.04 seconds behind Jan-Philip Glania (51.41 seconds). The winner here was Radosław Kawęcki from Poland (49.64 s). Tribuntsov also finished eighth in the Estonian 4 × 50 meter freestyle relay.
