Ralph Hartmann
Ralph Hartmann (born September 12, 1935 in Zwickau ) was the GDR's ambassador in Yugoslavia from 1982 to 1988 and is a non-fiction author.
Life
Hartmann studied in Moscow from 1954 to 1960 and later worked as a press attaché and embassy counselor in Cuba and Yugoslavia . He then became the GDR's ambassador to Yugoslavia in 1982 and remained so until 1988, and until 1990 he was head of the "Socialist Countries" sector at the Central Committee of the SED . After this activity, he worked from 1991 to 1994 as a research assistant to the Bundestag member Hans Modrow (PDS) in Bonn. Since 1995 he has published various books on politics.
