Ralph McKittrick (born August 17, 1877 in St. Louis , Missouri , † May 4, 1923 ) was an American golf and tennis player .

biography

Ralph McKittrick, who graduated from Harvard University in 1899 , played golf at the St. Louis Country Club . At the 1904 Olympic Games in St. Louis , he was able to win the silver medal in a team competition with the Trans Mississippi Golf Association . In the individual competition , he was able to complete the qualification in first place together with Stuart Stickney . In the round of 16 he lost to Albert Bond Lambert and was eliminated from the tournament. In addition to golf, he also took part in the tennis competitions of the games. In singles he was able to reach the round of 16, but where he lost to Edgar Leonard and was eliminated from the tournament. In doubles he competed with Dwight Filley Davis . The duo lost in the round of 16 to the later silver medal winners Alphonzo Bell and Robert LeRoy 6: 8 and 4: 6.

He earned his living in the wholesale of dry goods.
