Ramón Centurión

Ramón Centurión (born January 20, 1962 in Santa Fe ) is a retired Argentine soccer player .

The striker began his career in 1978 with Unión de Santa Fe in the Primera División . 1979 Santa Fe was Argentine runner-up champion. In 1985 he moved to Boca Juniors , but went to River Plate after only six months . With River he became Argentine champion in 1986 and won the Copa Libertadores in 1986 , where he was also top scorer with seven goals. However, he was absent from the finals because he had tested positive for ephedrine shortly before and was banned for one year for doping . In 1987 Centurión won the Copa Interamericana with River Plateand in 1990 he became Argentine champion for the second time. Then he went to Estudiantes de La Plata and back to his old hometown club Unión de Santa Fe, where he ended his career in 1992.
