Ramazan Yıldırım (born September 7, 1975 in Peine , Germany ) is a former Turkish football player and current coach. He preferred to play on the right flank in midfield .
Player career
Ramazan Yıldırım already played in the B and A youth for three years at Eintracht Braunschweig . After several club changes, the midfielder, who was also used defensively, celebrated his first major success with Jahn Regensburg and Rot-Weiss Essen with promotion to the second division .
After the first second division season , which ended with relegation for RWE, Yıldırım moved to the 2005/06 season for former league rivals Kickers Offenbach , where he stayed until the end of the 2006/07 season .
In September 2007, Eintracht Braunschweig took him again under contract as an experienced player. In June 2008, Yıldırım signed a new contract with the then third division team until 2009. After the season ended, Ramazan Yildirim began his coaching work at Eintracht Braunschweig immediately after his career.
Coaching career
After his time as an active player, Yıldırım first became assistant coach of the U23s of Eintracht Braunschweig and assistant coach of the U19s, with the intention of getting to know the profession from the ground up. Later he took over the post of head coach of the U19. On July 6, 2011, Yıldırım was the coach of Rot-Weiss Essen's U23. On December 12, 2011, the northern regional division VfB Lübeck introduced him as the new head coach. Parallel to his job in Lübeck, he completed his soccer teacher exams with top marks. On December 13, 2012, he had to be released from work due to massive economic problems (bankruptcy). For the 2013/14 season, the western regional division Sportfreunde signed Lotte Yıldırım as a new coach. After the relegation of the sports fans just missed in the previous season, he was able to set a new record for the club straight away. He had the best start in the club's history. With the 2nd place in the table it went into the winter break. Before the start of the second half of the season, they split up due to different views.
Between August 18 and November 30, 2014 he was assistant coach at the top Turkish club Fenerbahce Istanbul .
From January 2016 to November 2017, Yıldırım was director of professional football at SpVgg Greuther Fürth .
