Ramdurg ( Kannada : ರಾಮದುರ್ಗ Rāmadurga ; also Ramdurga or Ramadurga ) is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka with around 32,000 inhabitants (2011 census).

Until 1948 it was the capital of the Princely State of Ramdurg .

Ramdurg is located in the Belgaum district in northwest Karnataka in the highlands of Dekkan at an altitude of around 570 meters above sea level on the banks of the Malprabha , a tributary of the Krishna . The city is the capital of the Taluk (sub-district) Ramdurg. The next largest cities are Bagalkot 69 kilometers northeast and Belgaum 95 kilometers west.

The fortifications and the Ghotge Palace in the city still remind of the rule of the Maharajas of Ramdurg.
