The Gustav Ramelow KG is a German fashion store chain .

history

The company was founded in Klütz in 1872 by Gustav Ramelow . Since 1900 there was a branch in Berlin, from 1901 a department store in Grevesmühlen .

In 1933 there were 32 fashion houses . In 1939 there were 34 Ramelow fashion houses. After the Second World War there were three houses in Elmshorn, Uelzen and Bremerhaven. The houses located in the Soviet occupation zone or the GDR were nationalized, the fashion house in Stendal not until 1950. This formerly largest house in the group was bought back in 1991 and reopened under the old name.

There are currently seven fashion houses again. You are in Buchholz , Elmshorn , Wedel , Heide , Schenefeld , Stendal and Uelzen . The company has been run in the fourth generation by Marc Ramelow since 1996.
