Rampage is a arcade game , which in 1986 by Bally Midway was developed. The aim of the game, in which up to three players can play at the same time, is to destroy houses.

Game description

The three originally human characters have been transformed into monsters: George into a gorilla (similar to King Kong ), Lizzie into a dinosaur like Godzilla and Ralph into a large werewolf . The monsters have to climb up houses and bring them to collapse, either with fist blows or by kicking them down the facade.

Windows can also be broken, behind which there are people or objects. In addition, enemy helicopters, tanks, police vehicles and boats can be smashed and people can be eaten. Eating dynamite, on the other hand, is deadly. The opponents shoot the monsters with different weapons. Eating the right food can reduce the damage; if the loss is too great, the monsters turn back into people.

When the city is completely destroyed, it goes to the next of the total of 768 levels .

In May 2018, a film adaptation of the game with Dwayne Johnson as the star was released under the name Rampage - Big Meets Bigger . In the building of the genetic manipulation company you can also see the original machine as an Easter egg in a short pan .
