The location of the castle and the moat can still be recognized today by outlines in the landscape.

sport and freetime

There are several marked cycling and hiking trails on the Rampelsberg . The starting point for tours is the Meggenthal Church in the north-west of Tittmoning or as a second entry point on the outskirts of Freutsmoos . The trails are marked as forest adventure trails with information boards and show in a variety of ways the benefits and functions of an intact forest. The routes are only paved in smaller sections and mostly pebbled forest paths.
