Randal Kleiser

Randal Kleiser (born July 20, 1946 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , USA ) is an American film director , actor and film producer .

Life

Kleiser's most famous and successful film is Grease from 1978. Other well-known films are The Blue Lagoon and the film adaptation of Jack London's novel Wolfsblut . His film drama It's My Party (1996) on the subject of AIDS was more of a personal concern for him . Kleiser's filmography also includes some small appearances as an actor, u. a. 2001 in Circuit and Susan's Plan from 1998.

He also works as a producer, primarily for his own films. In 1991 he produced the film Return to the Blue Lagoon , the sequel to one of his own films.

In college he shared a room with George Lucas and appeared in his film Freedom .

Kleiser's brother, Jeffrey Kleiser, is a special effects expert in the film industry. a. for X-Men: The last stand .
