Ranunculus rumelicus is a plant type from the family of the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae).

Ranunculus rumelicus is a perennial stem hemicryptophyte that reaches heights of 15 to 30 centimeters. The tubers are 10 millimeters in size and ovoid. The basal leaves are three-part and hairy when pressed. Their sections are broadly wedge-shaped. The middle section is longer than the lateral ones and is often petiolate. The nuts are egg-shaped, rhombic and warty. The beak is 2.5 millimeters long and straight.
The flowering period extends from April to May.
Occurrence
Ranunculus rumelicus occurs in the northeastern Mediterranean and on Crete. In Crete, the species grows in Phrygana and on fallow land.
