The town hall in Eschelbach is a half-timbered house in Eschelbach , a district of the town of Sinsheim in the Rhein-Neckar district in northern Baden-Württemberg , which was built in 1593. It is a protected cultural monument .

history

The building, which was used as the town hall for a long time , was built in 1593 according to the inscription above the gable entrance. Above the portal is the coat of arms of the Lords of Hirschhorn with the inscription: "Friedrich von Vimo zum Hirschen zu Zwingenberg 1593".

There is a half-timbered upper floor above the plastered, brick-built ground floor and three lofts protruding a little above it. The windows on the first floor were enlarged during a renovation. There are weather roofs over the lower and middle attic and under the top of the gable is a console with a small roof. As decorative forms, there are curved St. Andrew's crosses with noses and plastered eyes as well as vertical timbers with curved plastering under the parapets in the upper floor.
