The town hall in Murnau am Staffelsee , an Upper Bavarian municipality in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district , was built in 1842. The town hall with the address Untermarkt 13 is a protected architectural monument .

history

Since the old town hall with the attached barn and granary had become dilapidated , it was demolished and replaced by a new building in the same place. The three- story gothic hipped roof building with a two-story flat gable roof extension has tracery windows . The facade painting depicts the Mater Dolorosa and Ludwig the Bavarian .
