The town hall in Zeulenroda , a district of Zeulenroda-Triebes in the Greiz district in Thuringia , was built between 1825 and 1827. The town hall is a protected architectural monument .

description

The building was built according to plans by the architect and hosiery publisher Christian Heinrich Schopper . The city fire in 1790 destroyed the old town hall building.

The classicist- style building has a tower with a Themis statue that towers above the building. The statue of the Greek goddess of justice is 3.30 m high and carries a sword in the right hand and a scale in the left hand. It is the work of the Altenburg sculptor Professor Carl Friedrich Döll and was cast in 1828 by the Lattermann iron foundry in Morgenröthe in the Vogtland Ore Mountains .
