Town hall Schönebeck

The Rathaus Schönebeck is the town hall of the town of Schönebeck (Elbe) in Saxony-Anhalt .

At the height of Steinstraße in Schönebeck, the oldest town hall stood with a longitudinal axis in north-south direction until 1788. The previous building of today's town hall was then erected on the market, diagonally across from the salt tower . In the years 1892 to 1893 the present town hall was built in the neo-renaissance style on the same place . According to plans by the Cologne architect Emil Schreiterer , the new town hall draws attention to itself through portals , bay windows , the outside staircase and roof structures . The Schönebecker Marktbrunnen , built between 1907 and 1908, stands in front of the town hall .
