The church was founded by the Regensburg bishops in the 9th century and was in the 11th / 12th. Century a branch of Hürm. The churchyard is closed off in the south by a lining wall and indicates an early medieval castle church.

The rectory was built around 1746 according to plans by Josef Wissgrill . The cubic, two-storey building has a hipped roof and above the portal a cartouche relief with the double eagle , inside partly square vaults and wrought iron bars.
