In the 16./17. In the 19th century, the residence of a noble family in Neudenbug was expanded into a four-wing complex. The street wing and side wing were demolished in 1813 and the garden wing was expanded in the second half of the 19th century. In the northeast is the two-storey "Stöckl" with a square floor plan, stair tower and pyramid roof. The actual castle is an elongated two-story box building with two-axis side projections and a historical facade design. On the front side it has a three-storey gate tower with groin vaults , the core of which dates from the second half of the 16th century. A wrought-iron balcony can be seen above the arched entrance gate. The two-story extension at the rear was built in the early 20th century.

The local mountain Waasen is considered to be the location of a medieval fortification that was deserted by 1591 at the latest. In 1733 three fathom stones from their masonry were used to build the sacristy in Neumarkt. In 1838 there were no more walls to be seen. The last remains of the presumed castle stables were removed before 1991.
