The church with a 4-bay nave and a slightly retracted 2-bay choir was built in the 1570s / 1580s. The tower and the west facade date from the 1730s.

The charnel house next to the church dates from the 14th century and was mentioned in a document in 1499. The two-bay building made of unplastered quarry stone masonry has a polygonal end to the east, buttresses under the gable roof and small pointed arched windows. The upper floor, the outside staircase of which dates from the 20th century, is the former chapel room, a hall with a three-sided end, the ceiling and roof truss are from 1974. In the barrel-vaulted basement, which is partly below the floor level, there is the ossuary with painted Consecration Crosses . A connecting passage to the parish church crypt was laid out in the 1970s.

The privately owned Sitzenthal Castle , mainly built in the 16th century and modernized in the 19th century, has a three-story, eleven-axis front, a pillared hall and rooms with ridge vaults, high-quality historical furnishings, valuable paintings and several outbuildings.
