The mighty three-winged building around a rectangular courtyard with a transverse barn probably dates from the Middle Ages (first documented mention in 1393). The trickle plaster facade with plastered corner blocks and silhouette pilasters on the two upper floors dates from the beginning of the 19th century, the basket arch portal with wedge stones and curbstones from the second half of the 18th century. The complex is connected to the higher cemetery via a bridge.

The octave bell in the bell tower of the parish church is rung at Easter, Christmas and New Year's Eve. The bell dates from the year 1200 and bears the inscription "O Rex Gloriae Veni Cum Pace" and the year "MCC" - O King of Glory come in peace 1200. - Its origin as well as its place of origin are still unknown. It is probably the only bell of its kind that can still be rung in all of Europe (probably even worldwide) and provides information about the high art of bell casting at the time of the Babenbergs . According to legend, the bell is said to have been buried during the Turkish era (or in the Thirty Years' War ) and many years later it was dug out by wild boars. The location is said to have been near the two linden trees on the high field.
