geography
The Ravine Tortues rises at the northernmost foothills of the Morne La Source at about 240 m above sea level and flows in a north arc to the west. After approx. 1.4 km it flows into the Pagua River from the right and east at Lagli .
The source rises in the same aquifer as the Salibia River (Ste. Marie River) and River Gaulette (Kusarakua), which, however, run off to the east and flow directly into the Atlantic .
