Raymond Charles "Ray" Lockwood (born December 12, 1928 in London , † December 31, 2009 in Toronto , Canada ) was a British figure skater who started in pair skating and ice dancing .

First, Lockwood competed in pair skating alongside Peri Horne . With her he finished fifth at the European Championships in 1952 , tenth place at the World Championships and eleventh place at the Olympic Games . In 1953 they were fifth at the World Cup . Then he switched to ice dancing.

Lockwood's ice dance partner was Barbara Radford . With her he won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1954 and 1955 . Her greatest success was winning the bronze medal at the 1955 World Cup in Vienna behind her compatriots Jean Westwood and Lawrence Demmy as well as Pamela Weight and Paul Thomas .
