Rebutia flavistyla is a species of plant in the genus Rebutia from the cactus family(Cactaceae).

description

Rebutia flavistyla usually grows individually with spherical, green bodies. The bodies reach a diameter of 4 to 6 centimeters and have short beet roots. The 15 to 27 ribs are clearly divided into cusps. The elongated areoles on it are initially yellow and later turn white. There is usually a protruding central spine . The 15 to 22 radial spines are yellow and later turn white. They are delicate, mostly straight and 5 to 10 millimeters long.

The orange-red flowers are up to 3 centimeters long. The bright green fruits have a diameter of 5 to 7 millimeters.

Distribution and systematics

Rebutia flavistyla is widespread in Bolivia in the Tarija department in the Eustaquio Méndez province at altitudes around 2000 meters. The first description was published in 1978 by Friedrich Ritter .
