Reckless Love is a Finnish glam metal band founded in 2001 in Kuopio .
history
The band began their career under the name Reckless Life , under which they first played covers of Guns n 'Roses . After they had no success with it, they began to write their own songs and eventually won the Kuopio band competition with them in 2004.
As part of the “Kuopio Popcity” project in 2005, Reckless Love went on the Scandinavian Tour together with Rainbow Crash, Svat and the Sideshow Zombies , which also extended to Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
In 2007 Olli Herman (also known as H. Olliver Twisted , real name Olli Herman Kosunen, born May 19, 1983) left the band to be the singer of the Swedish hair metal band Crashdïet , as their singer (Dave Lepard) was in the January 2006 suicide was committed. A year and a half later, Olli Herman returned to Reckless Love. In January 2009, the Reckless Love website announced that drummer Mike Harley was leaving the band. Less than a week later, a replacement was found in Hessu Maxx.
The band's musical style had changed dramatically over the years, which finally earned them a record deal with Universal Music on April 23, 2009 . On July 9, 2009, Reckless Love released the first single, One more Time . In August it reached number 2 in the playlist charts of the Finnish music radio station YleX . The second single Beautiful Bomb , which was released on October 15, 2009, reached number 4. The band also made a music video for this single December 2009 was with the Finnish TV channel MTV3 . On February 20, 2010, the third single Romance was released, which also received a music video. Four days later the debut album Reckless Love was released , which is available in Finland as well as in the Baltic States, Belgium and the UK. It should be available in Japan from July 2010. A publication on the German and Swedish markets is still being discussed. In Finland, the album entered the official national charts at number 13. On October 5, 2011, her second work "Animal Attraction" was published. Meanwhile, three singles ("Hot", "Animal Attraction" and "On The Radio") have been extracted from this album, whereby the music video for "Animal Attraction" attracted special attention, as Olli Herman can be seen there with his fiancée Noora Niemelä. In 2013 her current album "Spirit" was released. "Night On Fire" and "So Happy I Could Die" were released as singles.
