Reece John McFadden (* 1. June 1995 in Bellshill , Scotland ) is a Scottish boxer in the flyweight .
Amateur career
In 2011 he became British Junior Champion, won a bronze medal at the Junior European Championships and was a participant in the Junior World Championships . In the adult category, he is Scottish champion in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017, and British champion in 2012 and 2016. He also won gold medals at the international Tammer tournament in 2014 and 2016 .
At the 2014 Commonwealth Games , he defeated Andrew Selby , Charlie Edwards and Oteng Oteng before knocking out Andrew Maloney 2-1 in the semifinals and winning a bronze medal. At the European Championships in 2017 he lost in the first fight against Niall Farrell .
He won another bronze medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games after losing to Brendan Irvine in the semi-final .
Professional career
In July 2018, he signed a professional contract with MTK Global . He won his professional debut on November 30, 2018 against Elvis Guillen.
