European Boxing Championships 2017

The 42nd men's European boxing championships for amateurs , organized by the EUBC , the European branch of AIBA , took place in the Ukrainian city ​​of Kharkiv from June 14th to 25th . The Lokomotiv sports palace , built in 2004, was chosen as the venue . It was the first time that the country hosted the elite European championships for men in boxing. 234 participants from 39 nations were registered. At the European Championships, a total of 80 places were awarded for participation in the 2017 World Championships in Hamburg .
