European Boxing Championships 1947
The seventh men's European Amateur Boxing Championships for amateurs were from 2. April bis 17th April 1947 in Dublin , Ireland discharged. After an eight-year break caused by the Second World War , it was the second European championships in a row in Dublin.
Titles were awarded in eight weight classes, with France emerging from the tournament as the strongest nation with one gold and three silver medals.
