Boxing European Championships 1981

The 25 men's European Amateur Boxing Championships amateur in 1981 were from May 2 to 10. May 1981 in the Finnish Tampere discharged. 48 medals were awarded in twelve weight classes. The boxers of the Soviet Union won eight weight classes alone, making them the most successful nation in this championship. No boxer defended his 1979 European title . Viktor Rybakow and Serik Konakbajew came one weight class higher this time to title honors.
