European Boxing Championships 1985
The 27th 1985 European Men's Boxing Championships for amateurs were held from May 25th to June 2nd, 1985 in the Hungarian capital Budapest . 48 medals were awarded in twelve weight classes. The boxers of the GDR were able to win five weight classes, making them the most successful nation in this championship. With Emil Tschuprenski and Alexander Jagubkin , two boxers were able to successfully defend their European Championship title from 1983 .
