European Boxing Championships 1949

The eighth men's European Amateur Boxing Championships for amateurs were from 13. June bis 18th June 1949 in the Norwegian capital Oslo held.

Titles were awarded in eight weight classes and 93 fighters from 16 nations took part. Hungary and Italy won two titles each, France, Czechoslovakia, Ireland and Poland one each.
