Mateusz Tomasz Polski (born February 5, 1993 in Białogard ) is a Polish light welterweight boxer . He is 1.67 m tall and left-hand boom.

successes

Polski was Polish U23 champion in 2012 , finished second in the Feliks Stamm Tournament , was eliminated in the European Olympic qualification against Răzvan Andreiana and in the U22 European Championships against Artur Bril .

In 2013 he became Polish champion, won bronze at the Feliks Stamm Tournament and took part in the European Championships in Minsk , where he was defeated in the second fight against Miklós Varga .

In 2014 and 2015 he was Polish runner-up and U23 champion. At the 2015 European Games in Baku , he won a bronze medal after losing to Sofiane Oumiha in the semifinals . In the quarterfinals he had defeated Wasgen Safarjanz . He also won the silver medal at the Chemistry Cup and the Feliks Stamm Tournament, where he also succeeded in beating Luke McCormack .

In 2016 he was again Polish U23 champion and won bronze at the Grand Prix Usti, defeating Domenico Valentino . In 2017 he became Polish champion, won bronze at the Feliks Stamm Tournament, defeated the German Kastriot Sopa in an international match and took part in the European Championships in Kharkiv . There he defeated Wladislaw Baryshnik and Collazo Sotomayor before he was eliminated in the semifinals with a bronze medal against Howhannes Batschkow . He was thus qualified for the 2017 World Championships in Hamburg , where he lost in the first fight against John Gutierrez.

In 2019 he became Polish runner-up and came second in the Feliks Stamm Tournament.
