The shipping company Baltrum-Linie GmbH is a shipping company that operates passenger and freight traffic from the mainland port Neßmersiel to the East Frisian island of Baltrum .

The company was founded in 1928 by the citizens of Baltrum Ulrich Albers, Ulrich Meyer and Johann Küper. The Neßmersiel – Baltrum line is served one to three times a day, depending on the season. Due to the shallow water in both ports, the timetable depends on the tides . From April to mid-October, trips to Norderney , Langeoog and Spiekeroog as well as through the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park are also offered.

The two ferries Baltrum I and Baltrum III as well as the island supplier Baltrum II transport around 140,000 passengers and 8,000 tons of goods per year. In addition to operating the ferry line between Baltrum and Neßmersiel, excursion and charter trips are also offered. There is also a smaller ship, the Baltrum IV, with a draft of only 0.58 m as a so-called tour ship, which can also be used as a water taxi. Around 40 people are employed on land and on the ships.
