Refojos de Basto is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Refojos de Basto is part of the Cabeceiras de Basto district in the Braga district . The community had an area of 14 km² and 4677 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Refojos de Basto, Outeiro and Painzela merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Refojos de Basto, Outeiro e Painzela . Refojos de Basto is the seat of this newly formed municipality.
