Reform [ rɪˈfɔrm ] is a city in Pickens County , Alabama , in the United States . The settlement was recognized as an independent municipality on March 2, 1898 and had around 1702 inhabitants in 2010.
The city should be named after the exclamation "Reform!" of a Methodist preacher named Lorenzo Dow who was traveling through in 1819 .
