The Reformed Church in Küblis in Prättigau is a Protestant - Reformed church under the monument of the canton of Grisons . A last renovation took place in 1972 outside and 1999 inside.

history

The original church, the date of its foundation is unknown, was under the patronage of St. Nicholas . In 1472 a new building was built that integrated Romanesque and Gothic structures from previous buildings. In the pre-Reformation period at the end of the 15th century, the choir was built and the nave was given a vault.

Furnishing

The interior of the church has a nave without aisles and with a flattened ceiling. The choir is covered by a star vault and is dominated by a glass painting by Augusto Giacometti depicting the apostles and by late Gothic wall paintings . The central baptismal font is also attributable to the late Gothic . The wooden pulpit dates from the time of the Grisons turmoil in 1641. The modern organ was installed in 1973.
