Reformed Church Scheid GR
The Reformed Church in Scheid in Ausserdomleschg is an Evangelical - Reformed church under the monument of the canton of Grisons .
History and equipment
The current church is first mentioned in 1447 under the patronage of Simeon von Trier . Until the middle of the 16th century it was a branch church of the parish in Tumegl / Tomils . It finally broke away from this with the adoption of the Reformation , which did not take place until around the year 1600. Thereafter there was a parish union with Feldis until 1654 .
The tower with a tent roof and one-story bell stalls doubles over the church. Inside, a polygonal pulpit with a sound cover dating back to 1588 closes the choir from the nave on the left. In the choir, which is covered with a net vault , the central baptismal font , which also serves as the Last Supper table, and the organ behind it with a three-part prospectus form a unit.
Church organization
The Evangelical Reformed Regional Church of Graubünden runs Scheid as the preaching place of the Ausserdomleschg pastoral community within the Colloquium III Nid dem Wald . The rectories are located in Feldis and Almens .
