The Refuge du Col de la Croix du Bonhomme or Refuge de la Croix du Bonhomme is an alpine refuge in the Albertville section of the Club Alpin Français in the Savoy Alps .

location

The Refuge de la Croix du Bonhomme is located on the southwestern edge of the Mont-Blanc massif, a little below the Col de la Croix du Bonhomme and is a stop on the Tour du Mont-Blanc .

rise

The shortest ascent is possible from the south side. It begins on the pass road to the Cormet de Roselend above Les Chapieux at the junction to the Alpine settlement of Chalet les Murs (1760 m). The ascent takes just under 2 hours this way. At 4 to 5 hours, the ascent from the northern side is significantly longer. It begins at the Notre Dame de la Gorge car park in Val Montjoie with the valley community of Les Contamines-Montjoie .

Today's hut was built in 1991 in place of a previous building.
