reception

The album received mostly positive reviews. This is how the online magazine rap.de judges :

“The imagery of harvest, the drought and the subsequent redeeming rain runs through the entire LP, almost evocatively he raps the […] decaying system. So he moves between black painting and a renewed courage to face life without becoming pathetic. With bangers like “Zap Brannigan” and “Wer hat die Wärme”, the Nesola signing managed to create a healthy mix that produced an excellent, balanced album that had virtually no weak points. ”

Also Laut.de sees the album from a positive point of view, writing:

"Megaloh takes a stand with" Regenmacher "[...], he reveals an unusual amount of himself. Politically, personally and musically. Further facets are sewn onto the otherwise so soulful robe of sound. "

Steffen Bauer from MZEE writes in a thoroughly positive review:

"To list all the highlights of" Regenmacher "would go beyond the scope of this review. Where "Endlich Unlimited" was often a bit too melodic and organic, Megaloh manages to find an optimal balance between content and technology, heaviness and soul on his new work, so that one can assume that "Regenmacher" will die at the end of 2016 Will find its way into one or the other leaderboard.
