Government of Zdeněk Fierlinger II
The Czechoslovak government Fierlinger II , also known as the First Government of the National Front, led by Prime Minister Zdeněk Fierlinger , was in office from November 6, 1945 to July 2, 1946. She followed the Zdeněk Fierlinger I government and was replaced by the Klement Gottwald I government .
Government formation
The government of Zdeněk Fierlinger I was redefined on November 6, 1945, because shortly before that, on October 28, 1945, the Provisional National Assembly was constituted as the very first post-war legislative body, even if this was not yet done by direct and secret election. The second reason for the reorganization was disagreement between the governing parties about how they should deal with each other. The government was in office until the parliamentary elections in 1946 and the subsequent formation of the Klement Gottwald I government .
