Regine Schneider

Regine Schneider (born August 26, 1952 in Bochum ) is a German journalist and author .

Life

Regine Schneider went to school in Dortmund and passed her A-levels there in 1976 at the grammar school branch of the commercial college. She completed her studies in journalism, sociology and pedagogy at the Ruhr University Bochum in 1982 with the master’s examination.

Until 1988 she was a daily newspaper editor at WAZ and Westfalenpost . After that she was editor at the women's magazine Brigitte and head of the job and psychology department at Woman . Since 2007 she has been editor-in-chief at Rubin magazine and deputy editor-in-chief at Junge Familie . She lives in Hamburg .
