The Regiobahn Bitterfeld Berlin GmbH (RBB) is a railway infrastructure and railway transport companies with operating locations in the states of Berlin , Saxony-Anhalt (based in Bitterfeld ) and Saxony . It was created as a subsidiary of Captrain Deutschland GmbH on January 1, 2005 from the merger of the Connex freight transport companies Rail Cargo Berlin GmbH (RCB) and Regiobahn Bitterfeld GmbH.

The merger of three former works railways in the Bitterfeld / Delitzsch / Wolfen area resulted in a 193-kilometer network of freight railways on July 1, 1995 . In 2002 the route was 70 kilometers long, 25 kilometers of which are used for public transport. The transports in 2006 had an annual volume of around 900,000 tons. The company currently employs around 75 people and has five traction vehicles , plus three locomotives from the mother's pool of locomotives.
