The Mexico region is one of the five international regions that sent participants to the Junior League Baseball World Series . The Mexico region has been participating in this tournament since 1986.

From 2001 the regions Mexico and Puerto Rico were combined with other states to form the Latin America region . Mexico and Puerto Rico have had their own groups again since 2004. In the even years Mexico gets a permanent starting place in the odd Puerto Rico. In the years in which they have no direct starting place, they can qualify via the Latin America region.
