Savanes ( dt. Savannas ) is a region of Togo with the capital Dapaong .
geography
The region is located in the north of the country and borders on Burkina Faso in the north, the Kara region in the south, Ghana in the west and Benin in the east .
The region is divided into the prefectures of Kpendjal , Oti , Tandjouaré and Tône .
