Agjenzie Regjonâl pe Lenghe Furlane - ARLeF (Regional Agency for the Friulian Language ) is the auxiliary body of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia , which coordinates the activities to protect and promote the Friulian language in the region.

Regional language center for the Friulian language

Via the Regional Language Center for the Friulian Language, ARLeF offers toponymy and language advice services , written translations, information and guidance on the Friulian language. This range of services is aimed at all local authorities, auxiliary bodies and concessionaires of public services in the area of ​​responsibility. The service can also be used by private individuals if this is in line with regional language policy guidelines. The center has a head office and four branch offices that cover the entire Friulian-speaking area.

Family, children and school

Crescere con più lingue (Growing up with several languages) - a project that was implemented together with the health authorities of the Friulian-speaking area with the main aim of sensitizing young parents to the various cognitive and metacognitive advantages of a multilingual upbringing. The project is also intended to reduce prejudices that can still influence a decision by families in favor of multilingual education. Finally, the Crescere con più lingue project promotes the cultural and linguistic characteristics of the region and its “natural multilingualism”.
